Tyres must be disposed of correctly, as they're considered as commercial waste.
On delivery we will issue a Waste Transfer Note. This will clearly display the description of your waste and the quantity. The Waste Transfer Note should be retained so that authorities can trace your waste to the point of recycling.
It is a legal requirement for all companies that handle waste tyres to dispose of them responsibly and in accordance with legislation. Therefore we have a state of the art tyre shredding machine.
After arrival at our site your waste tyres will be sorted, and then shredded into tyre chip.
The tyre chip produced will be 15-20mm and 99.9% free from wire, which makes it suitable for a variety of uses:
- Civil Engineering Applications
- Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF)
Why use tyre chip?
- Freeze Resistant
- Excellent Drainage Capabilities
- Virtually Dust Free
- Prevents Weed Growth
- Doesn’t Compact and Subsequently Retains its Cushioning Effect
